The development of the LESTC has received the broad support of the Hamburg community.
The not-for-profit corporation Friends of the Lake Erie Seaway Trail Center
was formed in early 2006 to administer the Center. Staffing needs for
the LESTC are met by this group, which also solicits, trains, and
monitors local community volunteers, and works to develop the potential
of the Center.
